This shard is for all to have fun - hence our basic fundamental that players know how to
"Work and Play well with others". We reserve the right to delete any account at any time for not following certain understood basic gaming fundamentals.
If you have any problems logging onto the Server, please send an email to us or leave a PM here on the forum to Shazzy or GameOva and we will get you set up.
**Shazzy's Shard Rules**Use Your Common Sense:- 1- If you have to ask, then you already know there is a very good chance that it is not allowed.
- 2- Intentionally harming another player through a deceptive act will not be tollerated.
- 3- If you cheat, your account will be wiped/IP banned.
- 4- This shard is set up for the fun and enjoyment of players of all ages and gaming skill.
- 5- The use of any racial, sexual, religious, etc. harrassment of another player will result in your account and all things pertaining to be removed from the Server and your IP banned.
- 6- We expect everyone to conduct themselves with some semblance of maturity.
- 7- We want all of our players to be silly, creative, and have fun (but NOT at the expense of someone elses gameplay)
- 8- Res Killing and/or token killing of 'red players' to gain Justice Virtue is not allowed. All accounts involved will be dealt with by Shazzy or GameOva the shard Owners. If you are not sure on this one, send them a PM and they will be happy to explain further.
Macroing on your character AFK You are
ALLOWED to Macro unattended, AFK, at any time, but
ONLY under the following conditions:
- 1 - You must be in an unpopulated area or in a house with the permission of the owner or if it is a guild house the guild leader.
If a owner or guild leader reports you for unauthorised macroing then you will be disconnected from the server. - 2 - No trapped wild animals, or collection of tamed creatures.
- 3 - AFK macroing of skill that give you resources is not permitted. This includes but is not limited to mining, lumberjacking, fishing and any form of gold farming or obtaining items without being responsive and at the computer.
- 4 - An unpopulated area is any area where players do not congregate, ie. Luna bank is a popular place so you will find your self disconnected if you macro there.
House Rules:- 1 - NO Houses can be placed on Marble Island. This is the Training Grounds and where the Player Vendor House is located.
- 2 - No untamed pets trapped in houses - yes we know that a mount can go wild, so as long as you don't let it linger there, it wont be removed.
- 3 - Aside from your mount no collection of tamed pets lingering in your house
- 4 - Placement of houses should not block paths, entrances to caves or other public locations on the map.
- 5 - Decorating is great and fun, cant wait to see some of the nice designes you guys are gonna make, All we ask is that you keep the Junk Collector Attribute to a minimum - last time I checked, it was not a classed skill for your player, solely a Lag Monster that devours all!
- 6 - No Hunting or fishing is allowed from your house.
Rules for the forums:- 1 - As stated above use your common sense.
- 2 - Abuse, racial comments or anything posted that is offensive will not be tolerated and will be deleted and the offender will be spoken to. This includes items found to be offensive that are reported using the forums 'REPORT' system.
- 3 - Trolling or always posting negative or comments designed to abuse or attack people for the reason of causing disruptions will not be tolerated.
- 4 - Spamming and Advertising will not be tolerated.
- 5 - Staff reserve the right to be able to delete or remove any post they judge as offensive and notify the respective author.
Daily Maintenance:The Server is Shutdown for a short time most mornings.
Unfortunatly we can not set a specific time as it does change between 4am - 11am but generally it is in the mornings 'Server Time' (Use .time in game to see Server Time)
During this time we do script additions, backups and defrag the server computer to keep everything running at its peak.
Our Staff are here to help you but please note we are not looking to hire additional staff.
As the player base increases, we will post openings that become available on the forum please DO NOT Private Message, Email or make Posts requesting to be made staff as this will reduce your chances when positions become available in the future.
**After you have read and agree to the SHARD RULES, lets get to playing! You will need to check back to this page from time to time to check for any updates to the general server rules.**
Please be sure and read and if you have any questions, just ask a staff member. Let's keep all players from spending a day in our cute, but still dank jail cells.
Getting Started:- 1 - You are allowed one account per player. If you have more than one person on your Network, you may request an additional account. Please send the request to Shazzyshard@gmail.com with a user name and password.
- 1a - Players can have SIX(6) characters. Please take you time deciding on the template you want for that character. Characters take 14 days before you can delete them.
- 2 - Before logging in, be sure to run your UOPatch.exe in your UO folder. The server is currently running on the 6.0.13 Patch. If you run the patch and it starts to download anything higher, STOP!
If you run into issues patching, let us know with a PM to either myself or Ova here on the Forum. - 3 - Approved utilities and their downloads are listed in the Download Section.
